SUMMARY
Desmocerus cribripennis Horn, 1881.
Diagnosis
Elytra of male and female entirely greenish-black with narrow red margins. Body entirely and sparsely covered in long transparent hairs.
Life History
Bores into red elderberry, Sambucus racemosa from British Columbia to San Francisco and the Trinity Mountains of Northern California.

Holotype at the Harvard Museum of Comparative Zoology.
